Operation Smile Thailand Surin February 2014 mission was my first and certainly won’t be my last. It was an experience that touched my being in so many ways. Overwhelmed beyond words witnessing a room filled with so many normal looking children and families though each shouldering a sigh of sadness to have facial, palate or limb deformed kids yet each carrying a weight of hope that their loved one’s life can change and indeed it has for many, all it took was a good 24 hours or a little more to see the difference. Thanks to the love, dedication and commitment of a whole team of medical volunteers and the smooth organization of OST staffs to make this dream come true. As a mother myself seeing a young mother breaking down to her fears and submitting to tears of joy seeing her son transformed into this new look is simply overbearing even for me to handle yet a rewarding sight. No stopping here!
